Case study 17LondonFire-rated doors
40 Leadenhall Street
Fire door installation in the City of London
The outcome
Every doorset installed to its fire rating, on programme, with a clean, defect-free handover in a live, high-specification building.
Overview
OMFC International delivered the fire door installation at 40 Leadenhall Street, one of the City of London’s landmark office buildings, on a fit-out led by Overbury. The project was completed in 2025.
Over six months, a dedicated team of four OMFC operatives installed fire-rated doorsets across the fit-out areas. The work was carried out in a live, high-specification commercial environment, with strict standards for quality, safety and coordination with other trades.
Our team installed each doorset accurately, including frames, leaves and ironmongery, so that every door met its fire-rating requirements. Working alongside the package’s specialist contractor, Radii, which provided the design, materials and package management, OMFC kept to the programme and delivered a clean, defect-free handover.
