Curtain wall glazing
The outcome
Every glazing unit craned in, fixed and sealed at height, exactly to the supplier’s specification.
Overview
This project involved the installation of curtain wall glazing units to a new student residential development in Cambridge. On this project, OMFC International collaborated closely with the appointed supplier, who provided the glazing units and specification, while OMFC International carried out the on-site installation using its own equipment and a qualified, certificated workforce.
OMFC International’s site team handled each glazing unit from ground-level preparation through crane-assisted lifting to its final fixing and sealing at height, working from mobile elevating access platforms across the multi-storey brick facade. The works were carried out safely and precisely, in full accordance with the supplier’s specification.
